Building the next generation to build for the next generation

GNDH interim executive director and workforce training lead instructor Rachel Wagner will be part of a panel discussion about workforce development on Nov. 7 at the Upper Midwest Regional Home Building Performance Conference in Minneapolis.

Rachel joins an impressive panel of speakers including Bob Blake of Solar Bear, Jamez Staples of Renewable Energy Partners, and Rebecca Olson of Minnesota Center for Energy and the Environment. The panel session will focus on the efforts of these four organizations to not only develop a workforce in urgently needed areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy and building performance; but also to address the lack of diversity and opportunity in the green building sector, and the inequities in the sharing of the benefits from clean energy and sustainability investments.
